Job summary

Paycom - ATS is seeking a Sterilizer Technician to inspect, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair medical sterilization equipment across healthcare and laboratory settings. You will ensure steam autoclaves, low-temperature systems, and related infection-control equipment operate safely and in compliance with manufacturer specs and hospital policies.

Qualifications

• Experience with sterilizers, washers, and ultrasonic cleaners
• Ability to document repair work and maintenance thoroughly
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills

Responsibilities

• Complete repair service work and preventative maintenance on sterilizers, washers, and ultrasonic cleaners.
• Resolve issues with medical equipment and keep detailed records of all activities.
• Perform preventative and repair maintenance including disassembling, replacing or repairing defective parts, and rewiring as required.
• Perform equipment installs and de-installs as necessary.
• Provide customer support for equipment repair and troubleshooting.
