Job summary

Celanese is seeking a Production Coordinator at the Washington Works site to support the Autoclave Unit. You will manage Blocked Stock and Rework inventory, allocate work streams, schedule production, and oversee execution, coordinating with internal teams and external processors.

The role emphasizes production control, KPI tracking, and continuous improvement to optimize throughput and reduce external dependency. Strong communication and problem-solving are essential.

Qualifications

• HS Diploma or equivalent is required.
• Experience in manufacturing or production environments preferred.
• Ability to communicate clearly and collaborate with cross-functional teams.
• Proactive in prioritizing tasks and solving problems.

Responsibilities

• Efficiently process all rework on the unit's offline assets to maximize tote bin availability and productivity.
• Execute process orders and manage rework material at external processors.
• Create, distribute, and review offline processing production sheets.
• Update usage decision (UD) codes for rework materials including released status and SQ status.
• Monitor site KPIs for PACK 24/7 and CORE Team; manage production batch status daily.
• Maintain NFFU/D03 on-hand inventory reports to support offline/external processing needs.
• Oversee tote bin fleet management, availability, repairs, and reallocations.
• Act as manufacturing expert for Autoclave’s offline assets and drive continuous improvement.
