Job summary
Glengate is seeking an AutoCAD Technician to join our studio and produce buildable landscape construction drawings for high-end residential projects. You will work with Designers, PMs, and construction teams to translate concepts into precise CAD plans, sections, and details.
The ideal candidate has 2+ years of AutoCAD experience, strong drafting knowledge, and excellent communication. Proficiency in landscape documentation and attention to detail are essential.
Qualifications
- Strong drafting knowledge and ability to translate concepts into CAD drawings.
- Excellent written and verbal communication.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
Responsibilities
- Produce and maintain detailed AutoCAD drawings for landscape projects.
- Develop construction documentation including site plans and details.
- Translate design concepts into accurate CAD drawings from sketches.
- Prepare plans for pools, terraces, walls, and outdoor living features.
- Incorporate information from surveys, architectural plans, and engineering drawings.
- Coordinate drawings across disciplines and resolve conflicts.
- Maintain drawing standards, layers, templates, and file organization.
- Assist designers with revisions and finalization for permitting.
