Job summary

Let It Grow, Inc. in New Jersey seeks an experienced Drafting Engineer/AutoCAD Designer to support design, estimating, and sales operations.

You will produce detailed drawings and site plans, collaborate with engineers, landscape architects, and construction teams, and assist with proposals and project documentation. Experience in landscape, civil, or site construction design is preferred; portfolio required for review.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in drafting, CAD design, construction, or related field.
• Experience producing and revising technical drawings and construction documents.
• Proficiency with CAD software such as AutoCAD or Civil 3D.
• Ability to interpret engineering, architectural, and construction drawings.
• Experience supporting bid proposals and project documentation.
• Valid driver’s license and ability to travel to project sites.
• Portfolio for review required.

Responsibilities

• Create detailed technical drawings and site plans using CAD software.
• Interpret engineering, architectural, and design specifications into construction drawings.
• Collaborate with engineers, architects, sales personnel, and project teams to refine designs.
• Review and update drawings to reflect changes and ensure accuracy.
• Ensure designs comply with applicable industry standards and project requirements.
• Prepare and maintain project documentation and drawing records.
• Coordinate with construction and production teams to support execution.
• Communicate design updates to internal teams and external stakeholders.
• Stay current with CAD advancements and drafting practices.
• Occasionally conduct site visits for field measurements and verification.
• Assist with bid packages, project documentation, and pre-construction design information.
