East Coast Metal Systems, Inc. is seeking a Project Manager with AutoCAD experience to oversee shop drawings, bid processes, and construction coordination. The role involves reviewing drawings, coordinating with engineers and drafters, and managing costs and schedules.

The ideal candidate will read design drawings, communicate effectively with contractors and vendors, and thrive in a fast-paced environment while ensuring quality and compliance across capital projects.

Qualifications

• 2-year AutoCAD degree or equivalent AutoCAD experience.
• Ability to read design drawings.
• Excellent communication with internal and external teams.
• Strong organizational, prioritization, and time management skills.

Responsibilities

• Review shop drawings and submittal packages for accuracy.
• Responsible for drawing development based on measurements.
• Communicate with Engineers, Drafters, and other Project Managers.
• Assist in execution of contractor bid process.
• Manage project costs for materials and labor.
• Monitor approved projects and assist in weekly tasks and meetings.
• Assist in coordinating product delivery to construction sites.
• Maintain communication with contractors and vendors.
• Assist in inspection for compliance with specifications and quality control.
• Review proposed change orders and ensure validity.
