Job summary

asrinternationalcorp is seeking an AutoCAD/GIS Support Specialist to maintain and update the USSS JJRTC AutoCAD and GIS databases in Laurel, MD. This role is funded for option years, focusing on accurate data management for utilities and building information.

The ideal candidate will have over 4 years of experience in AutoCAD and ESRI GIS, a relevant degree, and will be eligible for comprehensive benefits including health insurance and a flexible work schedule.

Job description

ASR is seeking an AutoCAD/GIS Support Specialist to maintain and update the USSS JJRTC AutoCAD and ESRI GIS databases for above-ground and subsurface utilities, building modifications, and new facility data in Laurel, MD. This is an option-year-funded role.

Responsibilities

• Maintain the existing AutoCAD and GIS database through input of information related to any changes, modifications, or corrections to provided information on above-ground and subsurface utilities, building modifications, and new building information.
• Complete database updates within 5 business days, ensuring data is accurate and complete.
• Support periodic database audits coordinated with the COR.
• Maintain ≤ 1 data inaccuracy per quarter (AQL).

Qualifications

• 4+ years of experience with AutoCAD and ESRI GIS platforms.
• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field (or equivalent experience).
• Knowledge of software including Microsoft Office, Autodesk AutoCAD, and ESRI ArcGIS Pro/ArcMap, among others.
• Ability to communicate effectively with a diverse range of individuals.
• Ability to multi-task and prioritize in a fast-paced work environment.
• Qualified applicants must be a U.S. Citizen, able to pass a background check, and able to obtain and maintain a PIV card and the required suitability determination.
• Esri Technical Certifications (e.g., ArcGIS Desktop Associate/Professional). (Preferred)
• Government contracting experience, particularly with DHS, USSS, or federal facility programs. (Preferred)
