Job summary

Colorado Network Staffing Inc is seeking a skilled Drafter III to provide drafting support for a federal power marketing administration. You will develop and revise engineering drawings using AutoCAD, translate rough sketches into final drawing packages, and ensure accuracy and compliance with standards.

This on-site role requires strong attention to detail, ability to coordinate with engineers and operations teams, maintain DIS drawing files, and support CAD systems on the WAPA network.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent; Associate degree preferred.
• Minimum 5 years drafting experience with AutoCAD.
• Ability to read and interpret complex technical drawings and specifications.
• Familiarity with AutoLISP enhancements and CAE tools preferred.

Responsibilities

• Produce new drawings and revise existing ones using AutoCAD.
• Translate rough sketches, marked prints, and electronic files into final drawing packages.
• Maintain control and tracking of drawing files using the DIS.
• Coordinate filing, storage, retrieval, and archival of drawings per WAPA standards.
• Collaborate with engineers, technicians, and other departments to gather requirements.
• Support CAD system operation on the WAPA LAN/WAN.
• Work with outside utilities on joint facility drawings and coordination.
