Job summary

A leading staffing firm is seeking an experienced CAD Draftsman to support engineering and fabrication teams. Candidates should have over 3 years of experience in creating fabrication drawings and proficiency in AutoCAD. Responsibilities include producing detailed CAD drawings, updating existing ones, and collaborating with project teams to ensure design accuracy. The ideal candidate must have strong attention to detail and an understanding of fabrication processes. This position may involve site travel once or twice a month.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience as a CAD Draftsman, CAD Designer, or similar role.
• Experience creating fabrication drawings: steel, sheet metal, mechanical components.
• Knowledge of fabrication processes: welding, cutting, machining.

Responsibilities

• Produce detailed 2D and 3D CAD drawings using AutoCAD.
• Create fabrication and shop drawings including layout and material specifications.
• Revise and update existing drawings based on engineering changes.
