Job summary

1st St. NW Inc. in Minneapolis is seeking an AutoCAD Drafter with 0-3 years of experience for contract-direct work. The role involves creating AutoCAD drawings for telecommunications and utilities construction projects, and producing transmission diagram plans.

You will interface with architects and engineers, visit client sites occasionally, and bring strong AutoCAD skills with an AAS in drafting.

Qualifications

AAS in Architectural Drafting or similar CAD discipline.
0-3 years of drafting experience; entry level encouraged.
Strong AutoCAD skills.

Responsibilities

Create AutoCAD drawings for telecommunications and utilities construction projects.
Create transmission diagram plans.
Interface with architects, electrical engineers, civil/structural engineers, subcontractors, etc.
Visit customers’ sites on occasion.
