Job Overview

We are seeking a dependable, detail-oriented AutoCAD Civil 3D Technician / CAD Drafter to support land surveying and civil engineering projects.

The ideal candidate will have hands‑on experience with AutoCAD Civil 3D, general knowledge of land surveying and/or civil engineering, and strong computer skills. This position requires accuracy, organization, reliability, and the ability to work collaboratively with technical professionals.

Key Responsibilities

• Operate AutoCAD Civil 3D to prepare, modify, and maintain technical drawings and project documentation.

• Assist with drafting and design activities related to land surveying and civil engineering projects.

• Review drawings and project information for accuracy and completeness.

• Utilize Microsoft Word and Excel for documentation, reports, and project-related tasks.

• Organize and maintain electronic project files and technical records.

• Collaborate with surveyors, engineers, and other team members to support project completion.

• Complete assigned tasks accurately and within established deadlines.

• Follow company procedures and maintain professional workplace standards.

Required Qualifications

• Working knowledge of AutoCAD Civil 3D.

• General understanding of land surveying and/or civil engineering.

• Proficiency with Microsoft Office, particularly Word and Excel.

• Strong general computer skills.

• Excellent attention to detail, organizational skills, and time management.

• Dependable, punctual, and able to take responsibility for assigned work.

• Ability to communicate effectively and work as part of a team.

• Willingness to work at least 40 hours per week, with overtime or weekend work when necessary.

Compensation and Schedule

• Full-time position with a minimum of 40 hours per week.

• Overtime opportunities may be available depending on project demands.
