Job summary

Akkodis is seeking an AutoCad Layout Designer for a 12-month contract with a client located in Richmond, VA 23231. This role supports remote and occasional on-site work, offering a competitive pay range of $30/hour to $34/hour.

Candidates must have AutoCAD 2000 experience and be proficient with DCX Systems Layouts for Body in White assembly lines. Additionally, 3D factory modeling with Siemens Tecnomatix, Autodesk Factory Design and/or Dassault DELMIA is required.

Qualifications

• Experience with AutoCAD 2000 and DCX Systems Layouts (Body in White assembly lines).
• Ability to convert existing 2D layouts to 3D and map the building in 3D.
• Proven team player and reliable worker.

Responsibilities

• Create 3D factory models and digital twins using specified tools.
• Convert 2D layouts into accurate 3D layouts.
• Map and document the building in 3D for the client facility.

Location : Richmond VA 23231 - Remote and Occasional On-Site

Duration : 12 Months

Pay Range: $30/hour - $34/hour. The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.

Internal Job Description:

• Candidates must be experienced with Autocad 2000 and possess good experience with DCX Systems Layouts (Body in White assembly lines).
• Candidates must be a team player and dedicated hard worker.
• Candidate must be experienced with factory 3D modeling software to create a digital twin of the factory using Siemens Tecnomatix, Autodesk factory design and/or Dassault systems Delmia Virtual factory or equivalent.
• Candidate must know to convert existing 2D factory layout into 3D.
• Candidate must map the existing building in 3D.
