Job summary

Hargrove and Associates, Inc. is seeking a CAD drafter to turn rough sketches and engineer concepts into precise 2D drawings and 3D models using AutoCAD.

You will produce detailed plans, layouts, and cross-sections, and translate engineer and architect directions into finalized documents. You should have a High School Diploma and ideally an Associate degree in engineering drafting or technology, with up to 2 years of related experience.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent is required.
• Associate degree in Engineering Technology or CAD is preferred.
• Experience in drafting and design coursework or related hands‑on experience is required.

Responsibilities

• Drawings production: Create detailed plans and cross‑sections using AutoCAD.
• Design translation: Convert rough sketches or verbal directions into final drawings.
• Revisions: Update drawings based on feedback or test results.
• Collaboration: Work with project managers, engineers, and construction crews to ensure accuracy.
• File management: Organize and maintain digital drawing libraries and project records.
