Job summary

Hargrove Engineers + Constructors is seeking an entry-level Drafter to turn rough sketches into precise 2D/3D drawings used in construction and engineering projects. You will produce detailed plans using AutoCAD, translate engineer directions, and update drawings after reviews.

The ideal candidate has a High School diploma or equivalent, plus an Associate degree in Engineering Technology or CAD, or hands-on drafting experience.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent is required.
• Associate degree in Engineering Technology or CAD is preferred.
• Up to 2 years of drafting/design experience or related coursework.
• Strong ability to read blueprints and follow industry standards.
• Related hands‑on experience or drafting education is valued.

Responsibilities

• Draw detailed plans, layouts, and cross-sections using AutoCAD.
• Translate rough sketches or verbal directions into final drawings.
• Update existing drawings based on client feedback or redlines.
• Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and construction crews.
• Organize and maintain digital drawing libraries and project records.
