Mickey Truck Bodies in Freehold, NJ is seeking an experienced Autobody Painter to join the Reconditioning Team. The role focuses on preparing, priming, and painting truck bodies and trailers to meet quality standards.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum 2 years of autobody or industrial painting experience.
• Strong knowledge of paint prep, application techniques, and materials.
• Experience with HVLP spray equipment.
• Ability to recognize and correct finish defects.

Responsibilities

• Prepare surfaces through sanding, masking, cleaning, and priming.
• Mix and match paint colors for accurate finish results.
• Apply paint coatings using spray guns (HVLP).
• Inspect and correct defects such as sags, runs, or thin spots.
• Follow safety, environmental, and material-handling procedures.
• Maintain spray guns, paint booths, and equipment.
• Record paint usage, color codes, and job details.
• Meet production timelines with production teams.
