Job summary

EWI Worldwide is seeking an experienced autobody painter for our Winston Salem exhibit house that fabricates high-quality auto shows, trade shows and museum properties. The role involves applying automotive and commercial grade paint using HVLP spray guns and preparing surfaces for painting.

Responsibilities include mixing paint to match color codes, applying bondo and prep work, and finishing with various coatings.

Qualifications

• Ability to finish work with extreme attention to detail.
• Overtime may be required to meet deadlines.
• Experience with spray equipment and spray booths is preferred.
• Experience finishing painting on varied substrates is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Apply automotive and commercial-grade paint with HVLP spray guns.
• Mix paint and match color codes to specifications.
• Prepare surfaces: bondo, epoxies, mudding, sanding for paint readiness.
• Apply finishes including urethanes, base coats, clear coats, varnishes or stains.

Job Description

EWI Worldwide is actively seeking an experienced AUTOBODY PAINTER for our Winston Salem exhibit house that fabricates high-quality custom auto shows, trade shows and museum properties.

Duties include, but are not limited to:

• Applying automotive and commercial grade paint with HPLV paint guns
• Mixing paint and matching color codes
• Applying bondo, mixing epoxies, mudding, sanding and preforming prep work to get the properties ready to be painted.
• Mix, match &apply various paints such as, urethanes, base coats, clear coats, conversion varnishes &/or stains

Qualifications

Requirements:

• Ability to finish work with extreme attention to detail.
• Ability to work overtime.
• Working knowledge of spray equipment, as well as spray and prep booths.
• Experience in finish painting various substrates as steel, aluminum, wood, plastics, laminate, fiberglass, automotive bodies &components is a plus.
