Job summary

ESSA Bank & Trust is seeking an experienced Auto Body Painter to join our team. The ideal candidate will have I‑CAR Certifications, 3–5 years of painting experience, and hands-on auto body repair skills, with a team‑oriented attitude.

You will prep vehicles, mix and apply colors, inspect finishes, and keep the workspace clean and safe. Valid Driver's License and reliable transportation are required, and HS Diploma or GED is necessary.

  • 3-5 years of experience as an Auto Body Painter.
  • Must have own tools.
  • Valid Driver's License and reliable transportation.
  • Friendly and team-oriented attitude.
  • Auto body repair experience.
  • HS Diploma / GED.

Responsibilities

  • Keep the paint mixing area, machine, and booth clean; perform prep work.
  • Prepare vehicles for painting by sanding, masking, and priming surfaces.
  • Mix and match paint colors according to specifications.
  • Apply paint coats using spray guns and other equipment.
  • Inspect painted surfaces for quality and correct any imperfections.
  • Maintain a clean and organized workspace; ensure tools and equipment are in proper condition.
  • Follow safety procedures when handling hazardous materials.
  • Collaborate with other team members to ensure efficient workflow.
  • Keep detailed records of work performed, materials used, and job completion.
