Job summary

Goodyear Tire & Rubber Company is seeking a Mid-Level Automotive Technician to gain hands-on experience in our Auto Service centers. You will diagnose issues, perform routine maintenance, and deliver outstanding service to guests.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of automotive experience including brake repairs, fluid flushes, and preventative maintenance.
• Must have a valid driver's license and be at least 18 years of age.
• Candidates must be legally authorized to work in the U.S. without company sponsorship now or in the future.
• ASE Certification is preferred.
• Experience diagnosing vehicles and performing road tests.
• Experience with electrical, air conditioning, and fuel ignition systems is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Perform line technician services, routine inspections/maintenance, system diagnostics, and brake repairs.
• Document all work on the repair order and maintain guest communication.
• Demonstrate excellent guest service and provide guidance to junior technicians.
• Adhere to safety policies and company vehicle care procedures.
• Maintain and lift tires and wheels, standing, bending and squatting as needed.
