Job summary

Halfords Autocentres in Taunton offers an apprentice programme for aspiring vehicle technicians. You will learn safety, diagnostic skills and mechanical tasks across servicing, inspection and repairs while attending college day release.

Expected to work around 40 hours per week with enhanced support, mentoring and a strong emphasis on customer service and hands-on experience on a variety of makes and models.

Qualifications

• GCSEs in Maths and English at Grade C or above (Or Equivalents)

Responsibilities

• Learn workplace safety, engineering skills and vehicle inspection/servicing.
• Gain ability to diagnose faults and repair vehicles to a high standard.
• Work as part of a team and listen to college lecturers and mentors.
• All tasks align with the apprenticeship programme and the Autocentre's operations.
