Job summary

Halfords Autocentre Apprenticeship offers hands-on experience diagnosing and repairing vehicles across a variety of makes and models. You will work on servicing, inspections and complex repairs, using diagnostic methods and equipment, while gaining practical and theoretical knowledge.

You will learn safety, engineering skills and vehicle inspection, with a 5‑day week including day release at college. Strong problem-solving and teamwork are essential to success.

Qualifications

• GCSEs in Maths and English at Grade C or above (Or Equivalents).

Responsibilities

• Apprentice will gain knowledge and skills to diagnose and repair vehicles to high standards.
• Adapt to a wide range of tasks from servicing to diagnostics and complex repairs.
• Learn workplace safety, engineering skills and vehicle inspection and servicing.
• Work as part of a team while also developing independence and problem-solving.
