Job summary

Big O Tires in Fayetteville, AR is seeking a General Service Technician to perform oil changes, tire mounting and balancing, fluid checks, and basic vehicle maintenance with accuracy and timeliness.

You will greet customers, explain service benefits, follow company policies, keep the shop clean and organized, and participate in ongoing training to stay current with safety standards. This is an entry-level, full-time role requiring a valid driver's license and weekend availability.

Qualifications

• 17 years of age or older with parental consent.
• Ability to learn new concepts and use technical materials.
• Ability to safely operate automatic and manual transmission vehicles.
• Ability to communicate accurately with customers, coworkers and supervisors.
• Legal authorization to work in the United States.

Responsibilities

• Drain oil and change oil filter; lubricate vehicles; install, rotate and balance tires and properly torque wheels.
• Check and fill fluids; inspect and replace filters and lights.
• Unload tires and merchandise; stock shelves and maintain store appearance.
• Provide fast, friendly customer service and promote sales.
• Maintain safe operation of vehicles in service areas and complete required training.
