Job summary

Monro is looking for a General Service Technician in Laconia, NH. This is an hourly position, full time or part time, with responsibilities for basic vehicle services and repairs per company standards and manufacturer specs.

The role emphasizes delivering 5 Star guest service through clear communication of issues and proposed solutions. Primary duties include tire and vehicle service tasks, curating maintenance, performing courtesy inspections, assisting with inventory, and upholding safety and

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent is preferred.
• Automotive training including basic car maintenance and repair or the equivalent combination of education and experience.

Responsibilities

• Accurately perform basic vehicle services and repairs effectively and efficiently in accordance with Monro standards of operation.
• Tire Services – wheel removal, balancing, patch/plug repairs, changing, mounting, TPMS service and repair.
• Vehicle Services – lubrications, oil changes, basic maintenance (bulbs, wiper blades, filters), battery testing and installations.
• Complete Monro’s Courtesy Inspection on every guest vehicle and communicate needed services.
• Assist in inventory management and store duties to maintain cleanliness and guest readiness.

Education
