Job summary

Mavis Tire is hiring General Service Technicians for our automotive service, repair, and tire sales centers in the Farmington Hills, MI area. We offer paid training, competitive weekly pay, and opportunities to advance within the company.

Whether you have automotive experience or are looking to build skills, this full-time role provides hands-on training, a path to growth into Alignment Technician, Automotive Mechanic, Service Manager and other leadership roles.

Qualifications

• Be at least 18 years of age.
• Be legally authorized to work in the United States.
• Be reliable, punctual, and willing to learn.
• Be comfortable working in a fast-paced, hands-on automotive environment.
• Have a strong commitment to safety, teamwork, and quality service.

Responsibilities

• Dismounting, mounting, rotating, and balancing tires.
• Performing flat tire repairs.
• Completing oil and filter changes.
• Checking and topping off vehicle fluids.
• Performing basic vehicle maintenance and inspections.
• Identifying visible tire and maintenance concerns.
• Maintaining a clean, safe, and organized work area.
• Following established safety and service procedures.
• Helping ensure quality service and timely completion of customer vehicles.
