Job summary

Fausak Tires & Service, a full-service auto center, seeks a General Service Technician to perform non-technical repairs such as oil changes and tire services. You will work alongside ASE Certified Technicians and gain training toward the next level in your career.

COMPENSATION: Starting from $15-$20/HR, varies depending on experience. Benefits include medical/dental/vision insurance, life insurance, 401(k) with company match, paid vacation and holidays, tuition reimbursement, and advancement

Qualifications

• Previous automotive experience preferred, but we will consider energetic and hard-working individuals with a passion for cars.
• Ability to work Monday - Saturday
• Must posses a valid driver's license
• Must be deemed an eligible driver through an MVR (Motor Vehicle Report) screening.
• Must be at least 18 years of age

Responsibilities

• Safely transports customers to and from their place of residence or business using the company vehicle.
• Picks up parts, supplies, tires, etc. from vendors and/or the corporate office using the company vehicle.
• Operates company vehicle in a safe and courteous manner obeying all traffic laws.
• Conducts State Safety and Emission Inspections on vehicles following all guidelines.
• Performs tire mounting/dismounting, wheel balance and tire rotation.
• Performs oil changes and other basic services as directed by the Shop Foreman or Store Manager.
• Maintains cleanliness of the shop and surroundings.
• Follows all safety procedures and reports concerns to the Shop Foreman or Store Manager.
