Job summary

Momentum BMW in Atlanta is seeking a Service Technician to perform vehicle repair and maintenance in accordance with dealer and factory standards. You will also supervise apprentice technicians and ensure quality workmanship.

The role requires diagnosing causes of malfunctions, communicating with the parts department, documenting work performed, and maintaining safety and CSI requirements, while upholding dealership policies.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• ASE or manufacturer training or equivalent preferred.
• Ability to diagnose and repair vehicles per dealer standards.
• Strong attention to safety, quality, and customer satisfaction.

Responsibilities

• Receive repair orders and perform work per dealer and factory standards.
• Diagnose malfunctions and perform repairs.
• Coordinate with parts department for needed parts.
• Document work performed and communicate status to service advisor.
• Supervise and mentor apprentice technicians.
• Road-test vehicles when required and ensure customer vehicle is not used for personal errands.
• Attend factory-sponsored training and stay current with technical bulletins.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.
• Ensure compliance with all safety and environmental regulations.
