Job summary

BMW of South Atlanta is looking for a skilled BMW Service Technician to join our service department. We are dedicated to meeting service customer needs with care, fostering a loyal clientele. Applicants with experience as Service Technicians or Service Advisors/Writers are welcome, and novice technicians are encouraged to apply.

Qualifications

• ASE certifications are preferred.
• Strong automotive background and teamwork skills required.
• Possession of a clean and valid driver’s license is mandatory.
• Must be willing to undergo a drug screening and background check.
• Novice technicians are encouraged to apply; training will be provided.

Responsibilities

• Perform tasks outlined in repair orders efficiently and in accordance with dealership standards.
• Diagnose, maintain, and repair automotive systems.
• Execute repairs under warranty to manufacturer specifications.
• Communicate with Service Advisors about required services and estimates.
• Conduct test drives and utilize diagnostic tools.

Responsibilities

• Perform tasks outlined in repair orders efficiently and in accordance with dealership standards.
• Diagnose, maintain, and repair automotive systems, including engines, transmissions, electrical systems, steering, suspension, brakes, and air conditioning.
• Execute repairs under warranty to manufacturer specifications.
• Communicate directly with Service Advisors to inform customers of any additional required services and provide estimates for additional repairs.
• Conduct test drives and utilize diagnostic tools and special service equipment to assess vehicle performance and components.
