Job summary

Momentum BMW in Atlanta seeks a skilled automotive technician to diagnose, repair, and service vehicles to factory standards. You will handle parts requests, perform road-tests, and supervise apprentices while maintaining a clean, safe shop environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• ASE or manufacturing training preferred.
• Must have manual dexterity and good judgment.
• Strong commitment to customer satisfaction (high CSI).
• Authorized to work in the USA with valid driver license and clean MVR.

Responsibilities

• Receive repair orders from dispatcher and transport to stall area.
• Perform work per repair order with efficiency and accuracy per standards.
• Diagnose malfunctions and perform repairs.
• Coordinate with parts department to obtain needed parts.
• Tag and save parts for warranty or customer requests.
• Inspect vehicles to identify additional safety or service needs.
• Inform service advisor if extra work is unnecessary or delayed.
• Document work performed and road-test as required.
• Supervise apprentice technicians as assigned.
• Attend factory training and stay updated on bulletins.
• Keep shop area tidy and ensure tools are accounted for.
• Adhere to all safety policies and report accidents.
• Ensure customers' cars are kept clean during service.
