Dave Smith Motors Inc., part of the Sonic Automotive family, seeks a Dealership Service Manager to lead the service department in our Idaho dealership. The role focuses on maximizing production, controlling costs, building a loyal clientele, and maintaining service records.

The position requires three years of auto repair experience and one year of supervisory experience, a high school diploma, and preferably ASE certification.

Competenze

• Must have at least one year supervisory experience.
• Three years of experience in an auto repair facility.
• High school diploma or the equivalent.
• ASE certification preferred.
• Excellent communication, supervisory, and managerial skills.
• Authorized to work in the USA.
• Pass pre-employment testing including background checks, MVR, drug test, credit report, and valid driver license.

Mansioni

• Forecast goals and objectives for the department and strive to meet them.
• Prepare and administer an annual operating budget for the service department.
• Attend managers meetings as requested.
• Direct and schedule the activities of all department employees.
• Provide technical assistance to employees as needed.
• Conduct meetings with department employees to discuss activities and problems of mutual interest.
• Monitor technicians; payroll records.
