Job summary

Easycare in Salisbury, NC is seeking a Customer Service Representative / Accounting Clerk to join our busy body shop team. The role focuses on providing excellent customer service while handling accounting-related tasks and liaising with insurance providers.

The successful candidate will greet and assist customers, answer inquiries by phone and email, process payments, and coordinate with internal departments to resolve issues.

Qualifications

• Customer service experience required.
• Some accounting experience required.
• Good communication and people skills.
• Strong computer skills.
• Bodyshop or automotive knowledge preferred but not necessary.
• Strong work ethic and ability to work with a team.

Responsibilities

• Deal directly with customers either by telephone, electronically or face to face.
• Greet and assist customers and potential customers.
• Work with a variety of insurance providers.
• Answer phones, emails, and all inquiries.
• Handle payments and transactions.
• Respond promptly to customer inquiries.
• Handle and resolve customer complaints.
• Obtain and evaluate all relevant information to handle inquiries and complaints.
• Process orders, credits and requests.
• Direct requests and unresolved issues to the designated resource.
• Keep records of customer interactions and transactions.
• Record details of inquiries, comments and complaints.
• Record details of actions taken.
• Communicate and coordinate with internal departments.
• Follow up on customer interactions.
• Performs other duties as assigned by supervisor.
