Job summary

Radius Recycling is seeking a General Laborer I to join the production team in Fresno, CA. You will handle vehicles safely to produce core and scrap parts, support customers in pulling parts, and ensure environmental compliance.

The role includes operating equipment, dismantling engines, and maintaining areas for efficient workflow. The position requires adherence to safety protocols, overtime as needed, and a cooperative, professional demeanor.

Qualifications

• Ability to follow verbal and written instructions, including safety messages and hazard communications.
• Ability to work required hours, including weekends, holidays, and overtime as needed.
• Ability to work effectively in various outdoor weather conditions for the duration of a full shift.

Responsibilities

• Work safely at all times and promote the Pick-n-Pull safety culture; wear PPE correctly.
• Adhere to and model all company policies and procedures with consistency.
• Safely remove Freon, fluids, batteries, waste, and other materials per procedures.
• Extract fluids and components (gasoline, coolant, waste oil, etc.) per procedures.
• Position vehicles for customers to access sellable parts and prepare area for next vehicle.
• Dismantle engines and transmissions and harvest core materials per procedures.
• Operate tire machine to separate tires from wheels and prepare rims for shipment.
• Assist customers courteously and prepare shipment boxes; maintain stormwater controls and inspect equipment.
