Job summary

MFA Petroleum Company, operating Break Time convenience stores and Big O Tires franchises in Missouri, seeks a Sales Advisor. You will deliver fast, friendly service, educate customers on maintenance needs, and process tire and service sales accurately.

Responsibilities include promoting products, handling transactions, and supporting store operations. Candidates should be 18+, legally eligible to work in the U.S., with strong communication and math skills.

Qualifications

• 18 years of age or older.
• Ability to learn new concepts and use technical materials.
• Ability to consistently operate a computer and other office productivity machinery.
• Strong verbal communication skills.
• Sales abilities.
• Ability to perform basic mathematical calculations including addition, subtraction, multiplication, division, averages and percentages and making change.
• Legal authorization to work in the United States.

Responsibilities

• Monitor customer service area and host waiting customers, providing fast and friendly customer service.
• Handle complaints courteously and efficiently per company policy.
• Inspect vehicles and review vehicle owner’s manual maintenance requirements to promote needed products and services.
• Promote sales through explaining benefits, promotions, and suggestive selling techniques.
• Prepare sales documentation such as warranties, service agreements, and recording/tire sales.
• Conduct efficient and accurate sales transactions; notify supervisor of discrepancies.
• Assist store manager in meeting company expectations and manage ticket average/profitability.
• Support store operations with opening/closing tasks, inventory, sales reporting, and merchandising.
• Safely operate customer vehicles and train new employees as needed.
