Job summary

AutoNation, a Fortune 200 automotive retailer, is seeking a General Sales Manager in Florida to lead a high-performing sales team across new and used vehicles and financial services. You will set vision, coach leaders, and drive profitability while delivering exceptional customer experiences.

You will recruit and develop sales managers and associates, manage vehicle inventory, pricing, and financing processes, and partner with the General Manager to achieve market share and results.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Automotive retail management experience.
• Proven leadership ability to recruit, train, coach and develop a team.
• Ability to set and achieve targeted goals.
• Ability to drive an exceptional Customer experience.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Excellent organization and follow-up skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead the sales team to achieve targets for new and used vehicle sales and financial services.
• Set vision and goals for the sales team and motivate performance.
• Oversee negotiations and financing options with sales associates.
• Manage the Used Vehicle Department including inventory, pricing, and reconditioning.
• Analyze business to identify gaps and develop action plans.
