Job summary

Sedgwick is seeking a Claims Analyst to analyze and process auto and transportation claims. The role includes assessing damage, issuing payments, and ensuring files are properly documented and coded per policy.

A Bachelor's degree and state adjusting licenses are preferred for this position. You will collaborate with clients and insureds, manage deadlines, identify subrogation opportunities, and support quality programs while maintaining strong client relations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree preferred and state adjusting licenses as required.
• Familiarity with personal and commercial lines policies and endorsements.
• Ability to review Property Damage estimates, total loss evaluations and related expenses.
• Strong communication skills, both oral and written.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office and basic data entry.

Responsibilities

• Processes auto property damage and lower level injury claims; assesses damage, makes payments, and codes files as per policy.
• Develops action plans to meet state deadlines and move files toward resolution.
• Identifies subrogation opportunities; secures and disposes of salvage.
• Communicates claim action with insured, client, and broker as appropriate.
• Maintains professional client relations and performs coverage, liability, and damage analyses.
