Job summary

Sedgwick is seeking to analyze and process auto and transportation claims from a base in the United States. The role focuses on property damage, lower-level injuries, and subrogation opportunities while ensuring files are properly documented and serviced to clients and insureds.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university preferred; state adjusting licenses as required.
• Familiarity with personal and commercial lines policies and endorsements.
• Ability to review property damage estimates and negotiate first/third party claims.
• Knowledge of total loss processing and salvage forms.

Responsibilities

• Processes auto property damage and lower level injury claims; assesses damage, makes payments, and codes files.
• Maintains action plans to meet state deadlines and move files toward resolution.
• Identifies subrogation opportunities; disposes salvage.
• Communicates claim actions with insured, client, and broker as appropriate.
• Maintains professional client relations.
• Performs coverage, liability, and damage analysis on claims.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
• Supports the organization's quality programs.
