Job summary

Sedgwick is seeking a claims professional to analyze and process low to mid-level auto and transportation claims. You will assess damage, determine payments, and ensure proper documentation and coding per policy.

The role emphasizes timely action plans, subrogation opportunities, and maintaining strong client communication. Requirements include a Bachelor’s degree and state-specific adjuster licenses where required, with strong written/spoken communication, teamwork, and MS Office proficiency.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree preferred; state adjusting licenses as required for the position.
• Familiarity with personal and commercial lines policies and endorsements.
• Ability to review Property Damage estimates and negotiate first and third party claims.
• Knowledge of total loss processing and salvage forms is helpful.
• Strong written and oral communication skills; organized and team-oriented.

Responsibilities

• Processes auto property damage and lower level injury claims; assesses damage, makes payments, and codes files.
• Develops action plans to meet state contract deadlines and move files toward resolution.
• Identifies subrogation opportunities; secures and disposes of salvage.
• Communicates claim actions with insured, client, and broker as appropriate.
• Maintains professional client relations and performs coverage, liability, and damage analysis.
• Supports the organization’s quality programs and performs other duties as assigned.
