Job summary

Alcon is seeking a dedicated team member for the 2nd shift to support quality inspections in our manufacturing facility. You will use gauges and fixtures, follow GMP/GDP guidelines, and ensure documentation is accurate and up to date. This onsite role emphasizes adherence to standards and continuous improvement.

The position requires a High School Diploma or equivalent and fluent English. Sponsorship and relocation are not available; the work hours are 3:00 PM–11:00 PM EST, Monday through Friday.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Fluency in reading, writing, understanding and communicating in English.

Responsibilities

• Perform quality inspections using gauges and fixtures, and supervise quality statistically to ensure compliance with standards.
• Follow work instructions and Good Manufacturing Practice/Good Documentation Practice requirements.
• Handle materials and operate automated equipment.
• Resolve minor issues as they arise.
• Conduct optical tool inspection, assembly, set‑up, line clearance, mechanical and negative checks, and changeover.
• Follow Standard Operating Procedures, maintain accurate documentation, ensure quality control, and complete required training.
• Meet individual job requirements and uphold overall compliance.
• Commit to continuous improvement and regulatory compliance.
