Job summary

A global leader in eye care is seeking a Specialist I to join their Manufacturing Team in Reading, PA. In this role, you will operate and maintain packaging machinery while ensuring product quality. Candidates should have a High School Diploma and be able to communicate fluently in English. The position offers a robust benefits package and operates on a 2nd shift schedule from 3pm-11pm.

We foster an inclusive culture and are looking for diverse, talented people to join Alcon. As a Specialist I supporting our Manufacturing Team, you will be trusted to work on setting up, operating, maintaining, and troubleshooting manufacturing packaging machinery/equipment at Sinking Spring, PA.

In this role, a typical day will include:

• Perform a variety of repetitive, skilled manual operations to exacting standards

• Strict adherence to SOP's and GMP's

• Ability to read and understand product specifications, Blueprints, and documentation

• Assist in maintaining of detailed product documentation and verification of applicable records

• Must maintain a clean and orderly work area

• Must be responsible for product quality during manufacturing process

• Set grinding wheel, adjust press station or curve when required

WHAT YOU'LL BRING TO ALCON:

• High School Diploma or equivalent

• The ability to fluently read, write, understand, and communicate in English

• Work hours: 2nd Shift - 3pm-11pm

Preferred Qualifications/Skills/Experience

• Previous experience with machine operation, set ups and/or troubleshooting

• Punch Press and Grinding experience
