Whirlpool Corporation in Cleveland, TN is seeking an Auto Press Operator to operate, set up, troubleshoot, and maintain automatic power presses and related metal fabrication equipment to maximize uptime and quality.

You will perform die installation, adjust parameters, load CNC/PLC programs, and verify first-piece quality using precision gauges. A 3–5 year multi-craft background and required certifications are essential.

Formación

• HS Diploma or GED required; an Associate Degree is strongly preferred.
• 3–5 years of multi-craft setup, die setting, or technical maintenance experience.
• Power Press certification, overhead crane training, forklift/PVO license, and LOTO certification.
• Ability to read and interpret complex blueprints, part drawings, and technical schematics/layouts.

Responsabilidades

• Operate, monitor, and stop automatic power presses to meet rated SPM.
• Install, align, and secure stamping dies; adjust ram stroke, shut height, and feed systems.
• Set up secondary fabrication equipment (roll levelers, shears, CNC Press Brakes, Turrets, Laser Cutting).
• Perform first piece inspection and ensure quality with precision instruments (calipers, micrometers).
• Troubleshoot mechanical, die, tooling, electrical, and CNC/PLC issues; perform routine maintenance.
• Maintain 5S housekeeping; document downtime and setup parameters daily.
• Adhere to LOTO protocols and safety requirements; drive continuous improvement.
