Job summary

Whirlpool Corporation in Cleveland, TN seeks an Auto Press Operator to safely operate automatic power presses and related equipment. You will set up dies, adjust tooling, and run first-piece inspections to ensure quality while optimizing uptime.

The role requires 3–5 years in a multi-craft manufacturing environment, with Die setting, CNC/PLC familiarity, and precision measurement skills. Training and advancement opportunities are provided.

Qualifications

• HS diploma or GED required; technical degree preferred.
• 3–5 years multi-craft setup, die setting, or maintenance experience.
• Power Press certs and crane/forklift licenses required or to be obtained.

Responsibilities

• Operate, load, and monitor automatic power presses safely.
• Install and align stamping dies; adjust stroke and feeds.
• Load CNC/PLC programs and verify with first-piece checks.
• Set up secondary fabrications: lasers, CNC brakes, weld cells.
• Perform preventive maintenance and troubleshoot issues.
• Maintain 5S housekeeping and document downtime in logs.
