Job summary

Genuine Parts Company, through its NAPA subsidiary, seeks an Assistant Store Manager in Wisconsin to apply automotive knowledge, customer service and leadership to operate a high-volume retail store. You will support the Store Manager across all functions while maintaining active customer-facing sales responsibilities.

You will collaborate on sales execution, inventory health, labor planning and coaching staff to ensure top service, safety and operational standards in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Experience in the automotive aftermarket or willingness to learn.
• Proven leadership and customer care focus in fast-paced settings.
• Ability to manage inventory, scheduling and P&L awareness.

Responsibilities

• Partner with Store Manager on operations, sales, inventory health, and team performance.
• Actively sell and build customer relationships across channels.
• Execute opening/closing routines, cash controls, and end-of-day reporting.
• Oversee admin tasks, scheduling, compliance, and performance tracking.
• Monitor store metrics and drive continuous improvement and cost control.
• Provide coaching and mentorship to develop successors and cover gaps.
