Job summary

O'Reilly Auto Parts is seeking a Parts Specialist in Ohio to provide outstanding service to retail and installer customers. You will greet customers, help select parts, quote prices, and promote our Low Price Guarantee while supporting store management in daily tasks.

You will handle cash transactions, returns, and exchanges, assist with stock and planogram updates, and occasionally drive deliveries. Bilingual candidates are encouraged to apply for this role.

Qualifications

• Ability to quickly match alphanumeric sequences.
• Ability to provide outstanding, friendly and professional customer service.
• Must be able to multitask, handling customers on the phone and in the store at the same time.

Responsibilities

• Follow and promote all company customer service programs, i.e. Hi-5, Low Price Guarantee, Rock the Call, Related Selling, Rock the Lot, etc.
• Greet retail/walk-in customers and assist with merchandise selection.
• Support managers and installer service specialists for professional customers as needed.
• Complete training relevant to the position.
• Answer calls, look up parts and quote prices, and offer related items and Low-Price Guarantee.
• Maintain and secure the cash drawer and process transactions.
• Process exchanges/returns for credit per policies.
• Address and resolve customer complaints.
• Assist with image maker, planogram updates, stocking, and store housekeeping.
• Perform daily operational tasks including stock, returns, and inventory counts.
• Operate brake lathe and other test equipment after training.
• Provide in-store services (where allowed by state laws) such as wipers, batteries, codes, etc.
• Occasionally drive deliveries when needed.
• All other duties as assigned.
