Keating Auto Group is seeking a Parts Specialist to locate automotive parts and accessories, answer customer questions, and arrange for delivery and installation. The role requires a high school diploma or GED and emphasizes strong customer service and organizational skills.

Ideal candidates will have experience with automotive parts, excellent communication, and proficiency with Microsoft Office. The position involves in-person interactions and phone support within the dealership environment.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Locates accessories or parts and arranges for installation.

• Maintains accurate sales documentation.
• Provides timely and accurate reports as required.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

Description

The Parts Specialist is extremely knowledgeable about automotive parts and accessories and can accurately answer questions and satisfy customer requirements in person or on the phone. He/she locates automotive parts within the current inventory or from other sources (such as the internet, vendors, other dealerships, etc.) and arranges for delivery and installation.

The ideal candidate has a high school diploma or GED and previous experience with automotive parts and accessories. Candidates must have a pleasant and courteous personality, strong customer service and organizational skills, strong phone and computer skills, and excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Locates accessories or parts and arranges for installation


• Monitors parts inventory and maintains storage area in good condition


• Maintains up-to-date knowledge of all vehicles, accessories, and promotions


• Maintains accurate sales documentation


• Provides timely and accurate reports as required


• Performs other duties as assigned
