Job summary

Advance Auto Parts Inc. is seeking an entry-level Salesperson to support the DIY business and help achieve sales/service objectives. The role requires knowledge of store systems, basic automotive knowledge, and the ability to source parts from stores, hubs, pdq, and suppliers.

The position can be part-time or full-time. Ability to perform DIY services, inventory management, and operating POS is essential. Fleet safety certification is a plus.

Qualifications

• 2-3 years of successful sales experience in a diverse retail environment.
• Basic knowledge of automotive parts and DIY service.
• Ability to operate store systems and POS for transactions.
• Willingness to work days, evenings and weekends as needed.

Responsibilities

• Provide excellent selling experience for DIY customers and phone inquiries.
• Achieve personal and store sales goals.
• Perform DIY services such as battery installation and wiper installations.
• Maintain store inventory and operational standards.
• Manage inventory processes including stocking and back stock.
