Job summary

Advance Auto Parts is seeking an entry-level Salesperson to support the DIY business and achieve sales and service objectives. The role requires knowledge of store systems, basic automotive parts knowledge, and the ability to source from stores, hubs, and suppliers.

Part-time or full-time positions are available, with fleet safety certification preferred. Responsibilities include assisting customers, meeting sales goals, delivering DIY services, and maintaining inventory accuracy.

Qualifications

• Fluent English is required; Spanish a plus.
• Read and interpret safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, parts catalogs, and manuals.
• Perform basic math for transactions and inventory calculations.
• Able to work days, evenings, and weekends as needed.

Responsibilities

• Provide excellent selling experience for DIY customers in-store and via phone.
• Achieve personal sales goals and help store hit overall targets.
• Provide DIY services such as battery installation and wiper installations.
• Maintain store product and operational standards; manage inventory processes.
