Job summary

AutoZone, Inc. is seeking a part-time Retail Sales Associate in West Los Angeles, CA. The role involves customer assistance, product recommendations, and maintaining inventory while supporting store operations and safety protocols.

You will engage customers with automotive knowledge, use diagnostics tools when needed, and collaborate with teammates to achieve sales goals in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 16 years old.
• Ability to lift, load and deliver merchandise.
• Fluent in English; Spanish skills are a plus.
• Automotive knowledge preferred.
• Experience in automotive retail a plus.
• ASE Certification is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Customer Assistance & Communication: engage with customers and provide professional automotive advice.
• Leadership & Teamwork: collaborate with managers and teammates to maintain a productive store environment.
• Sales & Metrics: promote products and promotions to meet sales goals and store metrics.
• Inventory Management & Operations: restock, organize, and follow POS procedures with loss prevention in mind.
• Process Orientation & Safety: follow structured processes and PPE policies to keep a safe store.
• Product Knowledge: stay informed on automotive parts and tools via AutoZone systems.
• Diagnostics Support: use diagnostic tools to read codes and suggest solutions.
