Job summary

AutoZone is seeking a Retail Sales Associate to deliver WOW! customer service in a fast-paced automotive retail environment.

You will assist customers with product selection, provide expert advice, and help maintain a well-stocked store while supporting team members and store performance metrics. Responsibilities include customer engagement, selling promotions, inventory management, and using diagnostics tools to assist customers with vehicle questions.

Qualifications

• Minimum Age: must be at least 16.
• Physical requirements: ability to lift, load and deliver merchandise.
• Flexible schedule: mornings, nights, weekends, overtime as needed.

Responsibilities

• Engage with customers and provide trustworthy automotive advice with clear communication.
• Collaborate with managers and teammates to maintain a motivated store environment.
• Recommend products, services, and promotions to boost sales and meet store goals.
• Restock merchandise, maintain organization, and follow POS procedures and loss prevention policies.
• Follow structured processes and safety policies, using PPE when required.
• Stay up to date on automotive parts, tools, and promotions in AutoZone systems.
• Use diagnostic tools to read codes and suggest solutions to customers.
