Job summary

Advance Auto Parts Inc. is seeking an entry level Salesperson to support the DIY business and meet sales and service objectives. The role requires knowledge of store systems, basic automotive knowledge, and the ability to source parts from multiple channels.

Part time or full time options are available, with fleet safety certification preferred. The position emphasizes providing excellent DIY customer service, achieving sales goals, and maintaining inventory and store standards.

Qualifications

• 2-3 years of successful sales experience in a diverse retail environment.
• Ability to work an assortment of days, evenings, and weekends as needed.
• Basic driving and navigation ability.
• Basic math skills for transactions and measurements.

Responsibilities

• Provide excellent selling experience for DIY customer visits and phone calls.
• Achieve personal sales goal and help store achieve its sales goals.
• Provide DIY services including battery installation, testing, wiper installs, etc.
• Maintain store product and operational standards.
• Responsible for inventory processes including truck put away, shoot outs, cycle counts, Back stock.
