Job summary

Advance Auto Parts Inc. is seeking an entry-level Salesperson to support the DIY business and assist customers in-store and by phone. The role requires basic automotive knowledge, familiarity with store systems, and the ability to source parts from various locations including stores, hubs, and external suppliers.

Position can be part time or full time. The role involves handling inventory, performing battery tests, and offering basic DIY services while maintaining high standards of cleanliness

Qualifications

• Speak and write English (Spanish a plus).
• Read and interpret safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, parts catalogs, and procedure manuals.
• Use basic math accurately in all units of measure.

Responsibilities

• Provide excellent selling experience for DIY customers and phone calls.
• Achieve personal sales goals and help store reach its targets.
• Provide DIY services including battery installation and wiper installs.
• Maintain store product and operational standards.
• Manage inventory processes including truck put away, cycle counts, and back stock.
