Job summary

Advance Auto Parts in Middle River, MD seeks an entry-level Salesperson to support the DIY business and drive service objectives. The role requires knowledge of store systems, basic automotive parts knowledge, and the ability to source from stores, hubs, and suppliers.

You will assist customers in-store and over the phone, perform DIY services, and manage inventory while upholding safety standards. The position can be part-time or full-time with weekend availability.

Qualifications

• 2-3 years of successful sales experience in a diverse retail environment.
• English language skills required; Spanish a plus.
• Must be able to work days, evenings, and weekends.
• Basic automotive system and parts knowledge.
• Familiarity with store systems and inventory processes.

Responsibilities

• Provide excellent selling experience for DIY customers and phone inquiries.
• Meet personal sales goals and help store achieve its sales goals.
• Perform DIY services including battery installation, testing, wiper installs.
• Maintain store inventory and operational standards.
• Handle inventory processes including truck put away, cycle counts, Back stock, etc.
• Store cleanliness and general stocking; safety and process adherence.
• Safely deliver parts to customers when needed.
