Job summary

Advance Auto Parts is seeking an entry level Salesperson to support our DIY customers and contribute to both sales and service objectives. The role involves store systems knowledge, basic automotive parts knowledge, and the ability to source from stores, hubs, PDQ, and suppliers.

Part-time or full-time, with fleet safety certification preferred. You will handle customer interactions, perform basic services, manage inventory, and help maintain clean, organized store operations while adhering to

Qualifications

• Speak and write English; Spanish a plus and able to communicate with customers and peers
• Read and interpret safety rules, manuals, and parts catalogs.
• Use basic math for transactions and inventory counts.
• Ability to work days, evenings, and weekends as needed.

Responsibilities

• Provide excellent selling experience for DIY customers in-store and over the phone
• Achieve personal sales goals and help the store meet its sales targets
• Provide DIY services such as battery installations and wiper installs
• Maintain store product and operational standards
• Manage inventory processes including truck put away, cycle counts, and back stock
• Safe delivery of parts to customers when required
• Keep store clean and organized and stock shelves as needed
• Operate POS and parts lookup systems; use delivery board system when applicable
• Assist in testing/diagnostic equipment for DIY services
