Job summary

Hi-Way Auto Inc is seeking a Return Associate to process customer returns, inspect items for defects, and restock approved parts. The role focuses on accurate documentation, collaboration with warranty and quality teams, and maintaining KPI data on returns.

The position emphasizes strong communication, teamwork, and the ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced warehouse environment. Monday–Friday hours are typical, with a focus on accuracy and efficiency.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 1 year minimum customer service, retail, warehouse, or related experience preferred.
• 1 year minimum automotive experience preferred.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills required.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel/Word/Outlook) with ability to learn new systems.

Responsibilities

• Customer Service – Internal & External: interact with customers and guide them through the returns process.
• Keep customers updated on the status of returns and gather additional information as needed.
• Ensure timely communication, provide documentation, and monitor performance for SLAs.
• Drive returns processing: inspect returned parts for defects and determine restocking eligibility.
